Latest Book Reviews and Comments

Eragon is the first book of the Inheritance series. I wasn't sure what to expect when I began to read Eragon. I had heard many bad and good reviews about this book. That's why I was a bit cautious when I read it. Eragon isn't a spectacular fantasy book, but it's a readable book. The writing is often quite horrible, but I must confess that I've read worse books. I finally decided to give this book two stars, because there are worse fantasy books out there.

The Land of Laughs was a nice and pleasant surprise, when I read it a couple of years ago. It was an interesting and entertaining fantasy book. I can recommend The Land of Laughs to all fantasy fans who like good stories. It's Jonathan Carroll's best book.

The King of Elfland's Daughter is a classic fantasy book. It's without a doubt one of the best known fantasy classics. It's an old book, but it's quite good. The best thing about this book is the prose. The prose is beautiful and that's the main reason why I like this book so much. The story is interesting, but I must admit that it's a bit simple. That's why the story can't be compared to modern masterpieces. There are probably many readers, who won't like this book because of the simple story. If you've never read this book, you should consider reading it. I'm sure that you'll like it - especially if you appreciate beautifully written prose.

Pet Sematary is one of Stephen King's best books. In my opinion this book is much better than any of King's new books, which are often quite bad (and boring). Pet Sematary is an interesting, macabre and a bit disturbing book. It's a classic horror book - that's why you'll either like it or you'll hate it. I liked Pet Sematary, because it's a good old-fashioned horror book. In my opinion this book is worth reading, because it shows how good a writer Stephen King used to be. If you've read King's newer books, you'll notice easily how different and how much better this book is from them.

Cycle of the Werewolf is quite a good and entertaining horror book. When I read this book, I immediately liked it. I still like it and think that it's one of Stephen King's best books. I don't like Stephen King's recent books very much, but his early books and short stories are quite good and entertaining. In my opinion Night Shift is the best book of Stephen King. Night Shift contains many classic horror short stories and the best of them is Jerusalem's Lot, which is a homage to H.P. Lovecraft. Jerusalem's Lot is without a doubt Stephen King's best short story. I also like Children of the Corn, The Mangler and Sometimes They Come Back. If you like good and entertaining horror stories, you should read this book.

The amazing Books of Blood series is definitely one of the best horror and dark fantasy short story collections ever. I loved reading these books. The Hellbound Heart is an amazing dark fantasy and horror novella. Clive Barker's dark and disturbing visions are simply brilliant and The Hellbound Heart is without a doubt one of his best stories. The Hellbound Heart is a unique and unforgettable story about love, death and passion. The story works perfectly as a novella (I think it's good that Clive Barker wrote didn't try to prolong the story). If you like this story, you should watch the movie (Hellraiser) which is based on this novella, because Clive Barker directed it himself.
