This was an enjoyable book and I enjoyed the story and characters. The epilogue at the end was also a fun way to wrap up this couples story. I look forward to reading more of this series.

This book was the final book revolving around Della Tsang in the Shadow Falls After Dark Series and I thought it was a really good book. Seeing Della and Burnett arguing about his overprotectiveness while she tries to fight her way into various cases the FRU is working on is a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing how the story came together. I look forward to reading the next book in the Shadow Falls After Dark Series.
This book was really good and another great addition to the Shadow Falls Series. I am really enjoying getting to know more about Della in this series and this book provided a lot of background as well as providing even more questions about her family history. I also enjoyed seeing how the relationship between Della and Chase evolved during this book. The book ended on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to find out what happens next for Della and her family.
This book was a lot of fun to read and does a good job of picking up where the first Shadow Falls series left off. This sequel series focuses more on Della and allows the reader a chance to get to know her better as well as learning more about some of the other characters from the original series. A new vampire is also introduced in this book and I look forward to seeing how things between him and Della evolve as well as how Della's relationship with Steve evolves.
This was a great series that I have really enjoyed reading and I wish it wasn't over. I am looking forward to the next series Shadow Falls: After Dark & seeing were it picks up as well as learning more about Della and her adventures.
Shadow Falls: After Dark Book #1 is Reborn.
This book focuses on Della Tsang and Steve (shapeshifter) and takes place between the end of Whispers at Moonrise (Book #04) and Chosen at Nightfall (Book #05). I enjoyed reading more about Della in this book and found it a quick and enjoyable book. I look forward to reading more books in the Shadow Falls world in the future.
This book was a great addition to the series and had some great plot twists as well as intriguing character development. I can not wait to read the next book in the series and find out what happens next!
I am really enjoying this series so far and all the characters as well as the twists the story takes. This series has a lot of great characters and I like that their backstories are slowing being revealed to fill out and explain who they are and why they do things. I look forward to learning more about all the characters' pasts as well as seeing how they continue to develop in the next book.
This book was a great continuation from book 1 Born at Midnight and I really enjoyed seeing how all the characters and their relationships are growing. I can't wait to see what happens next in Taken at Dusk.
This book was really fun to read with an interesting plot that keeps you wondering what will happen next. I really liked all the different characters and seeing how they developed throughout the book as well as seeing how the various relationships changed throughout the book. I am really looking forward to the next book!
This book does a good job of introducing Della Tsang, I have read the Shadow Falls Series before but this book is a nice introduction to the world and I am glad I read it.
This is Shadow Falls Book #0.5
Shadow Falls Book #01 is Born at Midnight
Della Tsang is also the main character in the spin-off series Shadow Falls: After Dark
Shadow Falls: After Dark Book #01 is Reborn
This book was really entertaining with a fun plot & engaging characters that pull you into the story & make it hard to put the book down. I plan on reading more by this author, especially if she writes another book involving pirates.
I loved this book! It has a really entertaining plot that grabbed my attention and kept me wondering what would happen next. The characters were also all a lot of fun, well developed, and interesting. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
I loved this book! This book was a great ending to the Frontier Magic Trilogy and I really enjoyed the plot for this book as well as the overall plot for the series. The storyline grabbed my attention and kept me intrigued throughout the series and especially during parts of this book. I also loved watching all the interactions between all the characters as well as seeing how everything turns out.
Across the Great Barrier a really good job of picking up the story were Thirteenth Child left off and has excellent details as well as lots of adventure as well as some mystery throughout the story. I am really looking forward seeing how the story concludes in the next book in the trilogy The Far West as well as seeing what happens with all the characters.
This was a really fun book and looks like a great series. Patricia C. Wrede is a wonderful author who is really good at giving descriptions and helping the reader get into the minds of her characters. I look forward to seeing what happens next.
I loved this book and did not want to put it down! It is a fantastic book filled with magic and a bit of romance thrown in. This book has a bunch of really interesting and fun characters that create humor and cause this book to be a really fun and enjoyable read.
I love this book and all the characters! It is a great story that I have read several times and is full of magic and mystery with a touch of romance on the side but that isn’t the focus. It is part of a series however it can be read on it’s own and it was the first in the series I read.
This book was an enjoyable story and can be read as a standalone book although after reading Burl & Lucy's story I have added the prequel His Human Runaway about Thorn & Mica to my TBR as well as the next book His Human Rebel about Rake and Stella. I enjoyed reading about all the characters introduced in this story and Lucy's cats were fun to read about as well, particularly how well Burl acted with them. I look forward to continuing to read about Flagstone Fire Ranch in the future.
This was another great addition to the Xarc'n Warriors Series. I loved Pip (Kan’n’s intelligent shuttle) and seeing how it insisted on matchmaking Kan’n & Sam together. All the characters and different personalities in this book were a lot of fun. This book can be read as a standalone and while I have read other books from this series (Books 01 - 04, Book 07) I haven't read them all yet (although I plan to) and was still able to really enjoy this book.
It's odd to feel so hyped to start a series, that while it's been talked about it is still slightly smaller known. Starting this book, even a few chapters in, I noticed that this one was feeling slow. Not for lack of things happening just the amount of detail put into it it has made the pace feel that way, to me at least.
This was a great book. For a debut novel, Arcadia is deserving of the praise she receives! With plenty of magic, found family, enemies-to-lovers, slow-burn, angst, twists and betrayals, this story never failed to keep my interest. It had the perfect blend of unique characterisation, world-building and political intrigue, as well as delving into realistic issues of abuse, objectification and grief. A lot of the description was gorgeous and sophisticated too.
It's a definite must read if you like Brandon Sanderson or Robert Jordan.
The book was better than I thought it would be, it's a lot different than his Licanius Trilogy, but in a good way.
