About the Book
Ready, aim, die.
Barely twenty-four hours after tracking down a brutal serial killer, Special Agent Journey Russo is thrust into a different kind of hunt. This time, the stakes are much higher. Because the prey are innocents.
And all too human.
In less than two weeks, two families are found murdered in their homes, each victim fatally pierced by arrows. A mysterious feather left on each body serves as a haunting calling card, pointing to a new, sinister serial killer—one eerily reminiscent of the tragedy that decimated Journey's family.
As Journey and her partner track down leads on the distinctive murder weapon, a horrifying reality takes shape. Several types of arrowheads at the scene indicate four potential killers working together. Hunting together. Playing games with the victims that they’re guaranteed to lose.
When a third victim is found, his heart pierced with an arrow, the hunt is on. But can Journey and Lucas narrow down the suspects and stop the vicious marksmen before they find their next target? Or will they get caught in the killers’ crosshairs?
