With the winter storms hammering down, the team works hard to close in on the killer before the wild landscape works against them and any evidence is washed away forever.

However, only hours into the investigation, Freya learns that not everyone who wears a police uniform is on her side – lies and allegations from corrupt police officers leaves a trail for her to follow. But when the one man she can trust turns his back on her, she must face her ordeal alone while solving what is to be one of the most complex investigations of her career.
