Waiting For Death

When the whistle blows to announce the end of a paint balling session, the men regroup to assess the winning team. But when one of men fails to show, a search of the forest is carried out, and a grisly discovery is made.

DCI Freya Bloom and DI Ben Savage attend the scene with their team, only to find the eclectic group of men are on a stag do…and the victim, Zack Cummings was the stag.

With nine suspects to investigate, and nine potential motives to consider, Freya and the team seek to understand which of the stags had the strongest motive.

But when a second man is reported missing and the investigation takes a dramatic turn for the worse, one fact becomes clear… their lives are about to change forever, and until the killer is brought to justice, none of them are safe.
