The Mage's Heir 3

The estate is mostly secure. The monsters are tamed. But the real battle has just begun.

Silas Beckham survived claiming his grandfather's deadly inheritance, a mansion where the walls eat intruders and the butler dreams of murder. He's turned flesh-eating monsters into loyal servants and earned n his place in Bastian's tournament circuit.

But victory comes with a price.

When Archmage Candidate Michael Kelso declares war on the Beckham name, Silas discovers his inheritance includes more than deadly creatures and crushing debt.

With assassins closing in and his tournament finals coming up, Silas must navigate Bastian's deadly politics while managing an estate full of homicidal helpers who've adopted him as family. His only allies? A frost wolf in recovery, a skeletal butler who sings while dismembering intruders, a satyr who lives for violene, and a Registry clerk whose grandmother has very specific expectations about his marriage prospects.

As shadows gather and old powers stir beneath the estate's foundations, Silas faces his greatest challenge yet: becoming the lord his monstrous household believes he can be, before the Academy's vote for magical exile takes everything from him.
