The Mage's Heir 2

Silas Beckham went from hunting monsters in Karst's sewers to inheriting a death trap of an estate overnight. Now he stands as the last Beckham, with twenty-eight thousand gold in taxes due and assassins gunning for his head. Good thing he's got a mythic frost wolf by his side and a talent for turning deadly creatures into unlikely allies.

With his undead butler Bonereghard hiding family secrets and a flesh golem chef cooking his meals, Silas heads straight into Bastian's Summoner's Tournament. Each victory brings him closer to saving his inheritance, but also draws the attention of whoever murdered his grandfather seven years ago.

As he battles through tournament brackets and reclaims his estate, Silas finds himself caught between merchant sponsor Dale Muriku's ambitions and his growing attraction to Magistrate Riane's granddaughter. With his Blood Legacy powers awakening and Diog growing stronger each day, the former street rat must master monster diplomacy and unlock his grandfather's secrets before his enemies make sure the Beckham line ends with him.
