The series was originally presented as a trilogy, but Peter Brown has since confirmed that he isn't finished with Roz. In a 2025 interview with the Los Angeles Times, it was reported that he was already working on a fourth Wild Robot novel. Brown has also said that he has ideas for at least one or two more novels featuring Roz.
That's why we currently have The Wild Robot Book 4 listed in our database as a placeholder. The final title and release details haven't been officially announced yet, so we'll update the page as soon as more information becomes available.
So, while the first three books form the original trilogy, The Wild Robot Protects is not necessarily the end of the series.
