The Sentinel Archives

In a world where ancient leviathans sing beneath the surface of everyday life, The Sentinel Archives carves out a quiet, eerie niche in the realm of flintlock fantasy. Set in the soot-streaked city of Fivedock—equal parts smoke, secrets, and stone—the story follows Shay Bluefaltlow, a young woman pulled from her modest existence into a hidden order of archivists who track the unknowable: beings too vast and strange for ordinary minds to comprehend.

Rather than rushing toward action, this series lingers in its language, unfolding slowly with the rhythm of an old journal passed hand to hand. The atmosphere is thick with mystery, where scent songs hum through the air and danger doesn’t always arrive with a sword in hand. What sets it apart isn’t spectacle—it’s the tension between duty and self, between what’s forgotten and what insists on being remembered.

Perfect for readers who enjoy immersive, slow-burn fantasy layered with political intrigue and psychological depth, this series leans into the quiet power of discovery. There’s something haunting about how the world opens up—one hidden archive at a time.
