Liquid Gold

After a traumatic birth experience, a new mother finds herself struggling with little support. With nowhere else to turn, she seeks the help of an independent lactation specialist, who introduces her to a community of women in similar situations. At first, the Sisters in Loving Arms seem peaceful and supportive, if not a little over-regulated. But soon, her hesitation grows into something much more concerning, and she realizes she must submit to her new reality or become something more—something more terrifying—to save her and her baby.
