About the Book
Read the fourth book in the hilarious series that began with the New York Times bestselling The Dragon's Apprentice! Can Scorch and Ciara surive new enemies, uknown powers and old secrets...along with a few baby dragons running amok?
The Draconic Empire is at risk. The Emperor has disappeared. And this troublesome child from the far-off village of Skael, Ciara, who is calling herself the new Dragon Mage of all things, has somehow gained the magical power to destroy any who oppose her.
But don’t lose hope just yet! Word from the palace is that the Emperor’s dragons have returned to protect us from Ciara’s evil, and they have devised a series of tests that no mere pretender could possibly pass. Not only that, there are also the rumors of a new hero, a boy named Rowan, who has the power to destroy this girl’s magic and put an end to her “rule” once and for all.
Oh, what was that? He wants to destroy ALL magic FOREVER? Well, surely the mighty Empire will survive . . . wait, there’s more? Dragon babies have been seen in the Emperor’s palace? And they think Ciara is their mother? Well . . . good luck to us all, because we are DOOMED!
