The Gargoyle and the Executioner's Daughter

It's a usual day at work.
Head. Chop. Neck. Hang. Line-up. Fire. Strap-up. Electrocute.
One after another, it's boring work being the assistant to the town's only executioner (aka my dorky dad).
It's just another day at the dark dank office until we get a strange customer (aka condemned soul awaiting execution).
A gargoyle.
They're rare enough to be interesting. And strong enough to cause quite the inconvenience.
My father's saw breaks on its impenetrable skin.
The rope snaps when we try to hang him.
Needles, axes, swords—nothing works.
When my father leaves to get reinforcements, I'm left alone with the strange, but alluring statue with the large muscles and giant... ahem... rock.
If I rub it will he come alive or is that only a genie's lamp?
I try it and find out...
Boy, does he come alive.
And even though I'm supposed to be the executioner, he's the one slaying me...
With those wicked eyes, those skilled hands, and that oh so delicious tongue.
Maybe my dad will let this one go?
Yeah, I didn't think so either.
