About the Book
She spends her days keeping hearts beating. His hasn't beaten in six hundred years.
ICU nurse Robyn has spent her whole career surrounded by doctors and nurses, so when she signs up to the Hot Tatties Dating Agency, she has one simple rule: match her with someone completely different from her usual crowd.
What the agency sends her on isn't a date so much as a dare: a windswept Scottish castle, a row of weathered stone gargoyles, and one deeply unromantic instruction – touch them, and see which one wakes up.
One does. Sten has been cold, still and stone for centuries, and he'd have happily stayed that way – until Robyn's touch drags him roaring back to life. But there's a catch: stray too far from her and he turns straight back to stone, and the only thing that keeps him breathing is a taste of her blood. She's a nurse, so naturally she's determined to cure his little biting habit. Slightly less naturally, she's starting to hope she never does.
If you love a steamy monster romance – possessive alien warriors with wings, tails and a thirst for blood, strong women who don't like being told what to do, gothic Scottish nights, found family and sizzling, stone-shattering happily-ever-afters – get swept up in the world of the Starlight Gargoyles.
