Talon of the Silver Hawk is the first book of The Conclave of Shadows trilogy. In my opinion Talon of the Silver Hawk is a readable fantasy book. It's not the best Midkemia book, but it's better than the some of the recent Midkemia books, which is nice. I can recommend this book to Feist fans. Other fantasy readers may also enjoy this book. By the way, it would be a good idea to read the previous books before reading this book.
