Shards of a Broken Crown is the fourth book of The Serpentwar Saga (and the worst book of the series).
Shards of a Broken Crown is one the weakest Midkemia books I've read. Although this book is readable, it's not an excellent book. I was very disappointed with it. I expected it to be more interesting, but it wasn't.
This book was a mediocre and boring fantasy book. The author could've written a more interesting book, but he had failed to do so. (I think it's possible that some readers may stop reading Midkemia books after they've read this book, because it gives quite a bad impression about the author's writing skills.)
