About the Book
A remote Montana ranch. A family in peril. A deadly watcher in the trees.
Drifting through the northern plains, Jack Widow is used to living lean. But when his bank balance runs dry, he takes a job on the Sossaman cattle ranch—remote, quiet, and on the verge of ruin.
The work comes with more than long days and hard labor. Widow finds himself drawn to the rancher’s wife—a strong, beautiful woman struggling to raise two boys while her husband lies trapped in a decades-long coma.
Then the trouble starts. Strange eyes watch from the dark edge of the woods. Shadows stalk the property. And the danger closing in isn’t just aimed at the ranch—it’s aimed at the family Widow has sworn to protect.
On this silent stretch of land, the wrong move could get them all killed.
Fans of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher, David Baldacci’s John Puller, and Brad Thor’s Scot Harvath will tear through Once Quiet.
