About the Book
A new job. A new threat. A new chance to die.
Dr. Greg Schorn finds himself thrust back into the world of alien defense, much to his own surprise. After swearing off government work following the events in Norway, Greg reluctantly joins the reformed Department of Extraterrestrial and Alien Defense (D.E.A.D.) under its new, more humane leadership.
But the relative calm is short-lived. As creatures from Area 51 begin infiltrating wealthy suburbs with inside help, Greg uncovers a chilling conspiracy that threatens not just the whole of humanity, but someone close to him. Suddenly, the stakes are higher than ever before.
With each step, the danger intensifies, pushing Greg to his limits. As the man once voted “most likely to trip over his own feet,” he’ll need to summon every ounce of courage and wit to save his loved one and possibly all of humanity. But in this high-stakes game of survival, will Greg’s greatest act also be his last?
