Rain in Dark Woods

Ray Ryan retires from the NYPD after 40 years of distinguished service to become chief of police in a rural Pennsylvania town. He figures the new role will be a vacation compared to his high-profile, high-stress position in Manhattan, but that idea goes out the window in a hurry when a teenage girl vanishes without a trace. After learning the full extent of the problem, Ryan turns to a pair of former NYPD detectives for help in hunting a deadly and highly skilled predator who’s just getting warmed up. This is the eleventh novel in the Detective Pete Nazareth series. The books can be read in any order.
