FBI Special Agent Christina Rossi has a career life in limbo and a personal life from hell. Then, Rossi's life, both professionally and personally, seems to take a turn for the better in the form of handsome, intelligent, and successful Jack Dexter. An ex-SEAL, and the owner of a block of luxurious apartments, he unexpectedly enters her life, sweeps her off her feet, and surprisingly provides clues that turn into leads that can crack the Chinese slave labour case.

But, just when things start really looking up, they take a terrible turn for the worse, when Dexter's dark secret literally explodes out in the open. Suddenly, Rossi, and those she loves most, are targets for murder, or worse.
