About the Book
Two lost souls. One ruined world. A fragile chance at hope.
When an EMP shatters Britain’s power grid, the world Johnny knew collapses overnight. Middle-aged, solitary, and scarred by tragedy, he expects only to endure the aftermath in silence.
Then he finds Sarah. Young, stubborn, and alone, she needs protection in a world that has suddenly turned hostile. Against his instincts, Johnny takes her with him. What begins as reluctant duty slowly becomes something more—a fragile bond that gives him a reason to keep moving.
But survival is a brutal teacher. As lawlessness spreads and the landscape grows harsher by the day, Johnny and Sarah must rely on each other in ways neither expected. To keep her safe, Johnny will have to confront not only the dangers around them, but the shadows of his own past.
Gritty and grounded, yet quietly hopeful, The Silent Earth is a post-apocalyptic story about loss, resilience, and the unexpected places where connection takes root.
