About the Book
The infected have evolved.
They are everywhere.
To find a way to fight back, Jake and Colt must leave the safety of their well-stocked confines.
And go out there . . . with them.
Thirteen-year-old Amy Turner has a gift. Jake Maddox doesn't know exactly how it works, but he understands it could be the only thing left that can help humanity fight back against their terrifying new enemy.
Colt Maddox and a surviving few have their celebration of escaping the infected cut short. The helicopter is going down. Miles from their destination, stranded in the middle of nowhere.
Though they are far apart, Colt and Jake’s journeys are the same. Navigate a new world, full of terrifying and intelligent beings. The only way around is to go through.
With the infected working together, that’s going to be impossible.
