The Arrival

(Mine: The Arrival is the origin novella for the novel Mine and intended to be read after the novel. If you prefer to read it first, the choice, of course, is yours.)

A bright light streaks across the Montana sky.

An object unlike anything found by man before.

A scientist seizes what he believes is the opportunity of a lifetime, but he and his colleagues are unprepared for the dangers that await them along their path of discovery.

The future of mankind does not look bright.
