The Ninth Step

Some sins can’t be forgiven—especially your own.

Trying to atone for a lifetime of killing, John Milton lives quietly in London under a new identity. But when he meets Eddie Fabian, a man tormented by the abuse he suffered as a child, Milton offers to help bring those responsible to justice.

Before he can act, Eddie is found dead under suspicious circumstances. Milton’s promise turns into a mission—and his investigation uncovers a chilling web of corruption, cover-ups, and murder that stretches to the highest levels of power.
