About the Book
Who needs a handsome prince when you have a dragon and the courage to choose your own destiny?
When Lady Fern defies her parents plans to marry her off to a cruel noble, she earns herself exile instead. But Fern has no intention of fading quietly into the background. With her queen dragon, Auren, she enrolls at the Royal Rider Academy, the one place where strength, skill, and bond matter more than bloodlines.
Life as a cadet is not as carefree as she imagined. There are few queen dragons left in Nevermere and that means every man and his dragon are focussed on Fern.
Including them
Silver dragons have been extinct for a thousand years, yet now they have appeared on the horizon. Their riders descend with one purpose: to claim Fern and Auren.
Caught between rival cadets, awakening powers, and three mysterious riders who insist she belongs to them, Fern must decide what kind of rider she wants to be… and whether freedom means flying solo, or daring to trust the ones who burn for her.
