The message arrives without warning. No sender. No trace. Just six words ex-intelligence agent James Ryker hasn’t seen in years - a trigger phrase from a dormant black-ops protocol he believed had been buried for good.

He’s been activated. Which means he’s expected to kill. Again.

But Ryker is no longer the man he was when the procedure was last used. The world, too, has changed… So why now?

As Ryker begins to pull at the threads of an agency he no longer trusts, he realises he wasn’t the only one activated. Sleeping agents across the world have been woken up - prominent global leaders are being assassinated, precision retaliation strikes are being carried out on an escalating scale and something more sinister than Ryker has ever faced shows itself – Lazarus.

Once he starts digging into who – or what – Lazarus is… he realises that the world as we know it stands on the brink of annihilation.
