I'm tired of having my life planned for me. And I'm really tired of my parents keep trying to set me up with boys they think are suitable and whom I don't even like. When I reject their latest attempt after overhearing him call me a "spoiled princess" behind my back, Dad tells me I'll be dating the next one whether I like it or not.

So I pack my bag, grab a disguise spell and catch the first bus out of town.

Probably not my best idea. When a farmer and his wife offer me a place to stay for the weekend in exchange for helping out around their farm, I jump at the chance. It's a gorgeous place and my small amount of magic does actually come in handy - except their son is the guy I just turned down and it turns out that maybe he's not as bad as I thought he was.

If that wasn't enough, the disguise spell I'm wearing has an expiry date. But that should be OK, right? It's not like I'll be around long enough for that to be a problem...
