About the Book
Deceived. Pursued. Trapped behind enemy lines.
Ian Hale is back in the private military game—but this time, he's calling the shots.
Fresh from a brutal mission in South Sudan, Hale and partner Laney Shaw have established themselves as elite operators. But reputation alone doesn’t keep the lights on. Pressed for cash, Hale takes a high-stakes contract with Diedem, a tech giant crippled by cyberattacks. The mission: escort two executives into Belarus, pay off the hackers, and secure critical data. Simple enough.
Until everything falls apart.
When Belarusian secret police seize one of the executives, Hale realizes he’s been set up. Betrayed and hunted through hostile territory, Hale discovers that Diedem has a dark secret—a conspiracy linking the corporation to Moscow's brutal regime. Now, with ruthless Russian assassins and relentless Belarusian forces closing in, Hale must fight not just to survive, but to expose the truth.
He didn't start this fight, but he's determined to finish it.
