The Wisp and the Prince

Lark longs to interact with the world. As only a spirit, she cannot run through the grass or stroke the bark on the trees. Hardest of all, she cannot touch the hand of her dearest friend, Prince Griffith. When her feelings for Griffith deepen into more than friendship, she is tortured with the knowledge that she cannot be with him. Lark leaves to find a way to become human.
She returns with a solution, but things in the kingdom have changed. Griffith is not the carefree boy she left, but a sober man carrying the weight of the kingdom on his shoulders. Women from across the land of Whelvendow are vying for his affection, and dangers lurk in the forest.
Anxious to help Griffith find happiness again and protect the kingdom, Lark is pulled into a collection of new experiences from attending balls to spying on enemies. Through their adventures, her love for Griffith is rekindled, but she feels inadequate among the beautiful women and fighting the unseen foes.
