Bread with the Orc

My father says Harmony Glen’s gone downhill since the Revelation, but honestly? I think it’s never been more interesting. Sure, the monsters emerging into public life scared off Dad’s rich frat-boy golf buddies, and the town’s no longer the cocktail-swilling paradise it used to be… but come on—have you seen the new neighbors?

Too bad I’m strictly forbidden from associating with any of them. Apparently, monster dating isn’t compatible with my MBA or my inheritance.

Which makes my not-so-little crush on Dorvak, the town’s super-grumpy orc baker, a tiny bit of a problem. He’s huge, gruff, and has no interest in my ideas for turning his carb-laden hideaway into a thriving community hub.

But when I find out there is one thing he wants me for... let's just say I'm suddenly questioning everything my father ever taught me. And it turns out I’m very, very willing to let this deliciously grumpy orc take a bite out of me.
