Arthur Henry Sarsfield Ward (1883–1959), better known as Sax Rohmer, was a prolific English novelist. He is best remembered for his series of novels featuring the master criminal Dr. Fu Manchu.

Alice Askew, née Leake, 1874–1917 along with her husband, Claude Askew, 1865–1917) were British authors, who collaborated to produce a significant number of novels many published in sixpenny series in the early 1900s.
