Shadow Gifts

Amnesia is bad enough. Seeing ghosts? That’s just overkill.

Savannah was supposed to be a fresh start.
A place to disappear, to outrun the questions I couldn’t answer—
like why I woke up in a hospital with no memory…
and why people in costumes seem to follow me.

When I took a job leading ghost tours, I didn’t expect the ghosts to be real.
I didn’t expect one of them to whisper secrets about an unsolved murder.
And I sure as hell didn’t expect to become a suspect.

Now I’m caught between the living and the dead,
hunted by a past I don’t remember,
haunted by powers I don’t understand.

The only way out is through the shadows—
and the truth might be buried deeper than the graves I walk past every night.

In a city built on its buried secrets, some are just dying to be heard.
