Broken Dove

In the quiet corners of her life, somewhere between family dinners and temperamental printers, Dani Francis began building worlds that refused to stay in her head. Silver Elite, her debut novel, marks the start of her journey into the realm of dystopian romance, blending the grit of survival with the ache of forbidden love. Though new to the shelves, Francis already writes with the confidence of someone who has spent a lifetime immersed in stories that question power, identity, and what it means to fight for a future that seems out of reach.

At the heart of Silver Elite is Wren Darlington, a young woman hiding deadly psychic powers in a world where being “Modified” is a death sentence. Thrust into an elite military program designed to root out threats like her, Wren’s battle isn’t just one of survival. It’s personal, layered with secrets, and complicated by a slow-burning connection with her commanding officer. Francis’s writing leans into the tension of duality: strength and vulnerability, control and rebellion, heart and strategy. Readers who crave high-stakes romance set against the backdrop of political unrest and dangerous secrets will find themselves at home in her pages.

An unapologetic romantic and self-declared breakfast enthusiast, Francis has always been drawn to stories where love blooms in impossible places. Her creative process is grounded in what-if questions and emotional authenticity, an approach that makes her characters feel as real as the conflicts they face. While Silver Elite is her first step into publishing, her voice is clear, grounded, and ready to grow.

With her feet in the present and her imagination a few paces ahead, Dani Francis is a name to watch in dystopian and romantic fantasy fiction, especially for readers who believe that even in the darkest timelines, love can be revolutionary.
