About the Book
Roran's voidheart ability lets him connect to celestial relics. But when unstable power threatens the plains, using that energy may destroy him.
Roran has grown stronger since leaving his basin home, learning to harness his rare voidheart ability to sense and manipulate celestial energy. When an unstable relic corrupts his mentor Tiveran, Roran discovers these dangerous artifacts are appearing across the plains with alarming frequency.
Guided by Serashia, a powerful Sky Hunter serving the mysterious Astralin, Roran's group seeks healing in the Forbidden Forest. There, the enigmatic Elderbough grants Roran unprecedented clarity, allowing him to see the patterns within celestial energy and develop a remarkable new technique—the ability to filter unstable power into stable gemstones.
As Gravik, a dangerous former ally of the Astralin, gathers these unstable relics in a specific pattern for unknown purposes, Roran must master his evolving abilities quickly. With creatures converging and servants of the Astralin circling overhead, the final confrontation will reveal shocking truths about Roran's past and the greater forces that have been manipulating events all along.
Can Roran control the unstable power flowing through him before it consumes everything—including himself?
