Can a stubborn human free a cursed alien shifter?

Once upon a time Malrik was cold, wealthy, and arrogant. Convinced he was too important to ever fall victim to the curse of the unmated Vultor, he dismissed every female brought before him. Now he roams the mountains, locked in his beast form. Until one day he catches an unfamiliar scent - one that awakens a part of him he’d thought lost forever. A scent belonging to a pretty little human he will do anything to claim.

Bella is perfectly content living on the outskirts of the village with her eccentric father. When he fails to return from a trip, she goes in search of him only to find herself in the hands of a massive, scarred beast. She should be terrified, but despite his fearsome appearance and growled commands, she is more intrigued than scared.

Can she reach the male hidden inside the beast? Or is Malrik lost forever?

Full series details →

On the distant world of Cresca, danger prowls the forests in more than one form. What begins as distrust and survival soon deepens into bonds forged by passion, vulnerability, and the search for belonging.

Read full series description

Alien Wolf Tales blends the primal pull of shifter romance with the vast possibilities of science fiction. Each story stands on its own yet connects through a shared universe where magic whispers through alien landscapes, ancient curses carry heavy weight, and every encounter between human and Vultor male feels both inevitable and unpredictable.

At the heart of the series lies contrast: strength matched with tenderness, ferocity softened by trust, and loneliness answered by love. Whether it is a beastly warrior hiding behind a fearsome form or a heroine who discovers courage in the face of the unknown, the characters reveal that even in the farthest corners of space, connection is what makes survival worthwhile.

With its mix of fairy tale echoes, steamy tension, and alien intrigue, this series offers a world where the boundaries between predator and protector blur, leaving readers wondering what waits in the shadows of Cresca’s wild forests.

What Risingshadow readers think about this book

10/10

I was really excited to read this book because Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite fairy tales and I loved reading this retelling of it. Malrik & Bella make a great couple in this story and I enjoyed seeing how their bond developed. The epilogue at the end did a really good job of showing how the two of them are doing a little into the future and I look forward to reading more books from this series as well as other books from this author in other series as well.
