Adriella quickly agrees, figuring that’s exactly what she wants.

But Human Adriella doesn’t remember she wants to escape her past, and she wishes to know who she is. She, along with Edward, a kind human who saves her from drowning, travel to see a dangerous witch for answers. She finds herself falling in love with Edward, but he seems to be hiding a secret that ties him to the ocean. Should she trust him and allow herself to open up to him? Or should she guard her heart?
