When a storm drives me to seek shelter in an abandoned cathedral deep in the forest, I expect cobwebs, dust, and maybe a few mice. What I don't expect is him — a magnificent creature of stone and shadow who's been hiding here for centuries.
I'm just a freelance photographer looking for my next great shot, but fate has other plans.
After all, I'm not alone in the cathedral. There are eyes on me in the abandoned place. As the thunder rolls and lightning illuminate his chiseled features, I find myself drawn to the lonely guardian of this sacred place.
They say monsters lurk in these woods, but what if the real monster is the world that forced him into hiding? What if the greatest danger isn't his imposing wings or granite skin, but the way my heart races whenever he's near?
One stormy night. One ancient cathedral. One chance to prove that love doesn't care what you're made of.
The Gargoyle in the Cathedral is a steamy standalone monster romance featuring a protective gargoyle, a curious photographer, and the sanctuary they create together. Perfect for readers who like their heroes tall, brooding, and literally carved from stone. HEA guaranteed.

I thought this was an enjoyable story and enjoyed getting to know Dorian (Gargoyle) & Vivienne (human photographer) and seeing their relationship grow as the story progressed. This story can be read as a standalone and was the first in this series I have read so far.
