A prince seeking to be free.
An outlaw seeking to peace.
A gender-bent retelling of Rapunzel.
For as long as he can remember, Prince Rael has been trapped in a tower of living stone, cursed to remain within its walls. His long, silver hair holds powerful magic—a gift and a prison that binds him to the sorceress who stole him from his family. Every attempt to escape is met with failure, as the tower itself reshapes and traps him anew.
But when an outlaw named Zahra stumbles upon the tower, Rael sees his first hope of freedom in years. Zahra, on the run from a vengeful queen, has no interest in rescuing a cursed prince until she learns that the magic in his hair might be the key to breaking her own chains. Together, they strike a bargain. She will help him escape the sorceress’s clutches, and he will help her end the queen’s reign.
But freedom comes at a price because some cages are built not of walls but of destiny itself.
