About the Book
Army veteran Mason Sharpe has been laying low in Prairie Junction, Iowa. Working a steady job, enjoying the quiet life. Then all hell breaks loose when a swarm of National Guard choppers descend on the town.
Soldiers in hazmat suits enforce a strict lockdown. Roadblocks go up. Martial law kicks in. Everyone’s ordered to stay inside. No questions, no answers. But when Mason sees a local man murdered by soldiers, he knows something is very, very wrong.
Joining forces with an old flame, Dr. Evelyn Landry, Mason will do whatever it takes to find out why this little town has been cut off from the outside world.
And if the situation escalates? Well, Mason will escalate right along with it. All the way.
