The matchmaking cats of the goddesses have avoided this match as long as they could, but Morana is the last single witch in the Zero Cum Laude Coven and the cats can no longer ignore their duty.

Somehow, some way, they have to match this necromancer, who has the unfortunate tendency to raise the absolute worst of the dead, with her purrfect familiar and her vampire mate who just so happens to be utterly terrified of her.

The cats aren't afraid, of course. After all, they have the goddesses on their side. Still, they are a bit unenthusiastic about this particular match. If they believed in unmatchables, well, a necromancer witch would surely qualify.

This particular match will require every bit of magic the matchmaking cats of the goddesses can summon.

What Risingshadow readers think about this book

I really enjoyed this story and seeing Morana (Necromancer Witch) & Blade (Vampire) finally get together. This story can be read as a standalone but works better when you have read some of the other books in the series (I have only read the previous two but have more on my TBR list) since you will have a bit more background knowledge about some of the other characters mentioned. I also really enjoyed all the cats in this story including Neferkitty (Blade familiar) and the introduction of Schrödinger (Morana's familiar). I look forward to reading more from this series in the future.
