Okay, well it is, sort of, but I live and die by the idea that romance has a happily ever after at the end and honestly, both parties had to make too many compromises and the end was too bittersweet for that to be true of this one. It's too reminiscent of what actually happens in real life honestly, and I know a lot of people don't have time for that. If you feel the need to bail out on this one, feel free, as always. You'll be able to jump into the next book (coming out October 2024) without missing a beat.
