Forging Golden Slippers

A secret identity. A special shoe. And a kiss at midnight.

Princess Charmina knows her duty as the heir to the throne. But before the ball where she must choose her husband, she wants to experience life without the expectations of her title hanging over her. She wants to be just Mina. She soon discovers that life in an average village isn’t as simple as she expected.

Alan doesn’t know why the villagers turned against him, refusing to recognize his skills as a blacksmith. He is resigned to the situation. At least until Mina arrives and notices what the villagers miss. She is the first person in years to truly see him, and he begins to hope that his life could include not only happiness, but love.

But secrets have a way of ruining everything. How can Alan trust Mina when her entire identity was a lie?
