GWYN: A scientific breakthrough opens a wormhole portal to another world, Hope One. It's my dream to one day set foot on the alien planet. Working for Interplanetary Communications seems to be a good first step, despite me being a lowly member of the cleaning crew.
All that changes though, when one night the most incredible man I have ever seen steps through the portal from the other side. It doesn't matter that he is an alien barbarian. I'm more curious how and why he speaks English—and utterly stumped when he demands women for his people from my superiors.
He also demands I'll be part of that delegation.
Seems my dream has come true, but suddenly that doesn't seem enough anymore.
