This was a quick and enjoyable Retelling of The Twelve Dancing Princess that I thought did a good job of retelling this fairy tale. I liked the main characters Bianca and Silvanus. I hope this author writes more Fairy Tale retellings in the future.
Seven Kingdoms
The Bear in the Forest: Retelling of Snow White and Rose Red
Three Nights: Retelling of The Twelve Dancing Princess
The Scarred Shepherdess: Retelling of The Dirty Shepherdess
With his daughters disappearing every night, the King of Edormisco issues an edict: the man who can discover their destination can choose a wife from amongst his twelve daughters. Only…any man who fails will lose his head.
When Silvanus is visited by a fairy who offers her help, victory seems guaranteed, except he finds the dozen sisters far more of an adversary than he expected.
This story has been previously published in From the Stories of Old, JL Anthology Vol. 4.
