Fighting for the Alien Bride Lottery

I thought the Bride Games were my way out. But now I'm afraid they may simply be another cage.

With new rules in place, The Alien Bride Lottery is drawn from willing participants only. But the Khanavai are beginning to figure out that means only the most desperate human women enter.

Including me.

I'll do anything to get away from my overbearing Mafia family and their Machiavellian plans for me. At least, that's what I believe, right up until the moment the Games Administrator and host, Vos Klavoii, tells me he wants to claim me as his mate.

Talk about jumping from the frying pan into the fire—I've been watching the Bride Games all my life, and Vos Klavoii's machinations are legendary.

I'm beginning to figure out that no matter what I do, I'm going to have to fight to be in charge of my own destiny.
