Protector of the Werebeasts

In the outskirts of Arloch, Bryana is the sole female Master Hunter of the werebeasts, savage monsters who threaten the lives of the townspeople and everyone she loves. But her routine patrols take an unexpected turn when she learns a startling reality: Kole, her only friend, reveals himself to be one of the very beings she hunts.

Caught between her duty to her town and loyalty to Kole, Bryana grapples with a newfound understanding: not all werebeasts may be as dangerous as she's been led to believe. After all, Kole happens to be one of the kindest people she knows, and there’s no way he’s the abomination she’s always been warned about, right?

As she gets to know more of the werebeasts, Bryana has a new, more urgent challenge to face—uncovering what the real truth is, and who she can trust with it.

But all that’s easier said than done when her heart continues to chase after Kole, in his werebeast form and all. With her values and convictions crumbling around her, the future of her town and their very lives falls into Bryana’s hands…
