After the Golden Door incident, Lucas and Hugo have never been in more danger. Their allies are gone, the gods want them dead, and their new patron, who caused all of these problems, is more of a hindrance than a benefactor.
But the Climb must continue.
The pair descend into the Strand. A gothic city on the brink of tearing itself apart. By day, its citizens worry about dodging goblin artillery or being extorted by orc gangsters. But by night, the spirits grow restless. In amongst the chaos, a rogue necromancer is plotting their revenge.
With little time left, Lucas and Hugo will have to fight every step of the way for answers.
But secrets get buried for a reason, and no one will be prepared for the consequences.
