As for Tearloch, he has no intention of becoming one of the heartbound--again. He has someone to kill and someone to save--unfortunately, they're the same person! So he hasn't got time to babysit a strange young woman who claims to be an innocent who has never seen the world, especially when she so easliy bends that world to her purpose.
