Caught in a web of secrets and lies, how far is Mara willing to go for her love of Death?

Mara's only goal is to enjoy the last few years of her life with Death her my side. She has
it all, the man of her dreams, a life ahead of her, her family and friends safe ... and a near
constant paranoia that things are too good. When she starts not only seeing demons in her
nightmares, but one specific one that seems to be haunting her from a distance, she has to
question whether she wants a relationship with constant conflict or if there’s a better offer
waiting for her.

Death doesn’t believe that anything is solved. There’s always another problem waiting
around the corner and balancing what Mara knows and doesn’t know about their past is getting
harder when a new demon enters the playing field. He has to decide whether keeping her close
will prevent another attack on her life or if a proactive attack will protect her future.
