Kai has been asleep... for five years. After waking up, his mind knew what had happened, but he still wasn't sure. This wasn't the curse of his family's story. He shouldn't be a main character in the fairy tales of old. Instead he should be rising to king and have his son rescue a mermaid of his own. Instead, there's magic in the air that's changing the world, and now he's been dragged in to find out why the stories are changing and why the world is dying. The first though on his list was school. The Academy of Fairy Tales and Magic only accepts the best, and Kai was the best, or at least he was determined to be.
