About the Book
The resurrection of an ancient institution. Those chosen as sacrifice. The woman who must ferry their souls to torment.
The Great Sentinel Archivist, Penelope Etherington, has discovered an instructional tome for the formation of the Sentinel Legions: a fearsome and brutal military unit and school. Forced by their masters to resurrect it, Shay Bluefaltlow is thrust to the top of society. Here the glare burns fiercely, for she is as adored for her incredible powers as she is reviled for her diverging appearance.
But she must learn to tolerate both, because wars that were once the faintest whisper of suggestion, have become a howl of bloody truth. And nowhere remains untouched: not the school, nor her students; neither weeping earth, nor the vast beings they must bond and lead to battle.
Now only one question remains. Will Shay and Penelope defeat their many enemies, before their madness consumes them?
